BREAKING: A 4-day, “mutual and unconditional” ceasefire starting Friday, Nov. 24 could see 50 women and children under the age of 19 taken hostage on Oct. 7 freed by Hamas in return for 150 Palestinian women and teenagers among 7,200 prisoners in Israeli detention. An addtional 150 Palestinian prisoners could be subsequently freed in exchange for 50 more hostages. (Israeli forces are already arresting more “bargaining chips” on the West Bank. Will Hamas follow suit?)
As more Palestinians are killed and over 400 arrested on the West Bank, Qatar’s chief negotiator had hoped this “ceasefire” would “be a seed to a bigger agreement and a permanent cease of fire.” If Biden threatens to cut off aid to Israel and the Saudis turn off the oil, this carnage would end as quickly as San Francsico’s streets were cleaned up in advance of Xi’s visit.
All this after Israel’s army “arrested the director of Gaza’s al-Shifa hospital and bombed at least 300 targets from the air, killing dozens of Palestinians” on Nov 23. -The Guardian

Reportedly among those evacuated “from the Gaza envelope settlements,” the children performing such hauntingly hateful lyrics range from the ages of 6 to 12 years old.

“Swastika carriers”? Projection perhaps? But don't blame these kids. (Don’t cheeer them on, either.)
What else would they sing when their nation’s leader tells the world these “barbaric,” “subhuman,” Palestinian “animals” must be “exterminated” because their very existence (as the wrong sort of Semitic families) “threatens the existence” of Israel — despite all of its surveillance, fences, walls, fighter-bombers, tanks, gunships, U.S. billions and nuclear bombs. This might be why Palestinian parents have told their angry kids, raised without prospects within prison walls for generations, “The Israelis want to kill you.” On Nov. 16, 2023, U.N. experts and scholars warned that grave violations committed by Israel against Palestinians point to a “genocide in the making.”

On Oct. 5, 832 Israelis stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem under the protection of Israeli forces. Meanwhile, Israeli extremists held "provocative marches" inside Jerusalem's Old City and outside its walls, "attacking Palestinians and their property." Just before dawn... Hamas bodycam footage shows gunmen indiscriminatley firing their AK-47s at distant kibbutz homes. A gunman praises Allah as he passes the bodies of Israelis sprawled across the street. The group thanks God that they made it this far and wonder where the Israeli soldiers are. Other clips show gunmen shooting and tossing grenades into homes, and shooting motorists in their cars. Many of the bodies seen in the film are severely burned and there are also scenes from within burned buildings of victims incinerated beyond all recognition. So far, their movement has been virtually unimpeded across Israeli territory. For 65 minutes after they crossed the Gaza fence, the gunman with the bodycam and the group traveling around him had nearly free reign in Israel, traveling along roads and across fields with impunity. They have traveled nearly 10 miles, passing the towns of Ein HaShlosha and Kisufim.
When IDF tanks and helicopter gunships arrive, they fire into the kibbutzes with heavy weapons, setting shattered homes ablaze and incinerating hostages and their captors together. Yasmin Porat, who sought shelter in Be’eri from the nearby Nova music festival, told Israeli Radio that once Israeli special forces arrived: “They eliminated everyone, including the hostages” in a “very, very heavy crossfire.” Tuval Escapa, the kibbutz’s security coordinator, said Israeli military commanders had ordered the “shelling [of] houses on their occupants in order to eliminate the terrorists along with the hostages.” -Haaretz
As Consortium News explains: "For decades, the military’s so-called Hannibal procedure has directed Israeli troops to kill fellow soldiers rather than allow them to be taken captive.” Does this policy of sacrificing Israeli lives to acheive political ends explain why border posts along the Gaza fence were deserted on Oct. 7?

COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT IS A WAR CRIME
“The collective retribution against innocents is a familiar tactic employed by colonial rulers,” Chris Hedges explains. “Israel has spoken this blood-soaked language of violence to the Palestinians since Zionist militias seized more than 78% of historic Palestine, destroyed some 530 Palestinian villages and cities and killed about 15,000 Palestinians in more than 70 massacres. Some 50,000 Palestinians were ethnically cleansed between 1947 and 1949 to create the state of Israel in 1948.
“How can you trap 2.3 million people in Gaza, half of whom are unemployed, in one of the most densely populated spots on the planet for 16 years, reduce the lives of its residents, half of whom are children, to a subsistence level, deprive them of basic medical supplies, food, water and electricity, use attack aircraft, artillery, mechanized units, missiles, naval guns and infantry units to randomly slaughter unarmed civilians and not expect a violent response?

WHAT MIGHT A “TWO STATE SOLUTION” ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?
With world attention riveted on Gaza, and IDF bombers and Israeli “settlers” have killed 178 Palestinians on the West Bank — including 41 children — since Oct. 7, tearing up olive groves to deny their livelihood and confiscating even more of their land under the protection of Israeli soldiers. As as automatic weapons-fire spurs the survivors on, Canada’s Oldmanwinters has posted a chaotic video of Palestinians on the West Bank fleeing in donkey carts, motorcycles and on foot. Day 1 of the “pause” does not apply to them.
Once again, hate-filled fanatics appear intent on proving that the only “independent Palestinian State” worthy of that designation must be returned to its 1967 borders.
But first, that Old Testament reanactor, Netanyahu and his even more extremist cabinet must be removed from power by a populace already enraged by their crimes and corruption before Oct. 7. This wil happen. Soon. Washington now demands it. (Note to Bibi: Be careful whom you bear hug. Ask Zelenski.)
Until then, the only beneficiaries of all this mayhem are the weaponsmakers, bankers and the WEF.
