My attitude is: when something breaks beyond fixing, whether my vehicle, computer, or website, use this opportunity to replace it with something better. 

Trying to lighten ship, did I press the wrong keys? Say something wrong? Poof! My entire website -- decades of work -- winked off the web. On post-freakout reflection, maybe all those uploads were becoming a bit... cumbersome?
